Receiver

Model: AXSRECIV

Antennas, activators, and receivers combine to create the foundation for the ActiveTag™ system. The activator sends encoded data via external or internal antennas to the tags which then routes the information along with the tag identification detail to the network receiver. Every antenna connects directly to the activator, thus creating reliable and discrete coverage zones for diverse applications which include both asset and personnel tracking.

Receiver:

The ActiveTag™ serial receiver is a general-use receiver built to detect tag signals. The network-capable device converts the signals to data, and then forwards it to a host application or a controller. The -IP Network Receiver couples a LAN interface to the basic serial receiver, thus providing Ethernet connectivity over the full enterprise LAN/WAN.

Numerous receivers can be easily networked across multiple facilities, a capacity which enables institution-wide tracking and monitoring of assets, personnel, and any mission-critical resources. A receiver then sorts and processes data obtained from any tag, whether triggered by a beacon timer, sensor or alarm event, or activated  automatically at any of the control points (by use of the ActiveTag™ activator). Transmissions from tags can be detected and processed up to a distance of roughly 35 feet in average office environs, and even greater distances are obtainable in line-of-sight (open air) applications.

Receivers are also capable of being configured with an Wiegand output (optional) for easier integration to previously existing alarm and access control systems. The -S serial receiver will support 26-Bit Wiegand, the industry standard, or an RS-232 serial port, ensuring ease of interface to practically every control panel available on the market. The -IP model supports Ethernet network communications over TCP/IP protocol. Both receivers are capable of being configured and controlled remotely by utilizing either issued commands from a software application program or a Hyper Terminal.
